Welcome!

The Orange Community Council of PTAs, also known as OCC, is comprised of 29 PTA units in schools within the boundaries of the Orange Unified School District.  OCC encompasses the cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, Orange, Santa Ana, Silverado and Villa Park.

OCC is proud to work cooperatively with our individual members, PTA units, students,
Orange Unified School District and the surrounding communities, for the benefit of all children.

The Orange Community Council of PTAs (OCC) maintains this website with the hope you'll find what you're looking for.

We encourage you to visit often and if at any time you don't find what you need, let us know! Your suggestions,
comments and questions are important because we want to know how we can best serve you and our community.

Why PTA?

...because PTA provides a complete framework within which we receive the training, support,

    policies and guidelines
that equip us to make a difference for our children.

...because PTA is a national organization of several million members that advocates for children,
    youth and families, giving every PTA member a voice at the local, state and national levels.

...because PTA operates locally on school campuses, benefiting each child in the classroom and the
    entire school community.

...because PTA makes Parent Education a priority, offering special events and continuing information
    on topics vital to parents as they work to safely and responsibly raise and educate their children.

...because PTA provides up-to-date material to facilitate communication and support for ongoing
    operations, including Online resources such as training materials, legislative updates and
    new program ideas.

...because the minimal cost of membership provides all of the above and more!

The Mission of PTA:
  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before
          governmental bodies and other organizationa that make decisions affecting children;
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children;
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.
